		<abstract>In this paper, we present a different way to apply the wavelet transform to images. It consists on an image conversion into a vector form by an enumeration process, where pixels are traversed in a con-tinue, unique ordered way, so we can apply a unidimensional wavelet transform over the generated vector. The direction to be followed is obtained by Peano-Hilbert curve which fractal nature overcomes direction-ality problems commons to classic bidimensional wavelet transform methods. At last, the generated wavelet coefficients are compressed using classification methods from JPEG s algorithm.</abstract>
